Doctorate of Business Administration
The Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA)
Offered online (U.S. and worldwide where approved), on campus (in Cameroon and in the US by 2016), or a combination of both (hybrid)
The DBA program is a terminal business degree and the highest degree offered within the School of Business Administration. The goal of the program is to train leaders that can shape a better future for organizations worldwide by applying theories in business operations or holding faculty and research positions in academics. Graduates of the program can become executives in business organizations or governments, faculty in colleges or universities, or consultants. Successful students will have to be passionate about their doctorate studies; they will also have to be curious and practically inclined. There is a high level of rigor in the program but at the same time the environment is supportive. We designed the program so that all graduates receive an area of emphasis in one business area and a solid foundation in general management.
a) To be admitted a student must possess a bachelor degree or a master degree from a university or a college accredited or licensed by a government or an accreditation institution approved by a government
b) Applicants with a bachelor degree must have a GPA of 3.2 or above or pass the Nova International University Graduate Aptitude Test (NIU GSAT). The NIU GSAT is very affordable ($20 in the years 2016-2017). They may also submit results of the GMAT or the GRE in place of the NIU GSAT
