Accreditation

Nova International University

A New University That Places Customers First

Nova International University is a new online university, which will start offering programs by 2017 as a university offering courses online to students worldwide.

To make the students, our end customers trust our programs, and to ensure all employers worldwide, the public, the US Department of Education (USDE), and other governments of our commitment to quality, transparency, and excellence, we have volunteered to apply for accreditation

The Launch of our Programs
We will launch our Certificate programs on June 26, 2017 and our degree programs on September 04, 2017.
Students may take individual courses in lean, Six Sigma, quality, and management by June 26, 2017.

We Are Applying for Accreditation
To receive an institutional accreditation from a CHEA or a USDE authorized accreditation agency, the university has to operate for at least two years. To ensure quality, we are applying for IACBE (which is possible for start-up universities) accreditation for all our programs including joint programs between the College of Business and the College of Engineering and Technology by September 4, 2017. We will also have our engineering programs reviewed by the American Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET, www.abet.org). Our target for the Higher Learning Commission accreditation is the year 2018.

What is IACBE?
As stated earlier, by July 2017, we will apply for IACBE accreditation. IACBE stands for the International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education. It is one of the three US based accreditation agencies for business school programs recognized by CHEA, the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). IACBE accreditation will ensure that all our programs are academically robust and at the quality level of the best business programs of the USA.

Here is IACBE’s official website: www.iacbe.org

Applying for accreditation by two agencies and working wisely and exhaustively to fulfill all the accreditation  requirements is a testimony of our commitment to quality. More, we will be reporting the results of our yearly internal audits process, and we will have our quality control processes available upon request by August 30, 2016. We will also be looking for accreditation for our engineering programs before the end of the year 2016. We will strive to meet the requirements of the American Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET, website: www.abet.org) for that purpose. We will initially review our engineering programs to the ABET standards.
